Purpose:  FNESA/Ishkoday is seeking interested individuals for an employment opportunity for a 3-year contract.  This position requires an individual with knowledge of Energy Assistance Programs in the province of Ontario.  This position will work with Ishkoday members to enhance their understanding of available energy efficiency, housing and other programs that might alleviate energy poverty within the province of Ontario.  They will assist with planning and delivering of in-person training programs to low income First Nations individuals and First Nations Administrators and support staff. A solid work ethic and the ability for travel is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS

Asset: 2 years experience training in a First Nation community; OR 5 years experience working in Ontario Works or Social assistance office.  Certified Energy Manager would be an asset.

 

PARTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Salary:  Dependent on qualifications. 

Location:  Work from home arrangements will be made, travel is must for this position.
