Back to News & EventsONWAA is proud to present an exciting new training opportunity, ozhi'mushkuhwezewin, meaning "to build strength", to overcome challenges caused by stress and overwhelming responsibilities by sharing knowledge, working together and taking care of self.
This interactive train-the-trainer workshop will teach you tools and strategies to enhance personal wellness, build resiliency, and prevent burnout and to share the knowledge with others in your field. As a train-the-trainer workshop, the overall goal of this session is for you to become a community champion as a “self-care expert” and walk away from the workshop with a toolkit and skillset to lead self-care retreats for others to improve their own self-care, wellness and resiliency. By participating in this session you will also experience the personal benefits of engaging in hands-on activities to feel refreshed and destressed.

This 2.5 day workshop will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott (290 Derry Rd West, Mississauga) on February 18, 19, and 20. The first two days are full-day workshops from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
