Join us for a 1.5 day information session focused on lands and estates processes for people living on-reserve. Participants can expect to learn information on estate planning, guardian and trusteeships, estate executor appointment, how to create a will, processing and managing estate settlements, power of attorneys, and funerals and burials processes. This session will be led by ONWAA staff, community leaders, and legal experts who can answer your questions and help clarify the processes. Participants will also have an opportunity for community discussions and sharing best practices. 

This session is intended for Income Assistance Administrators, Homemakers Coordinators or any staff/community member responsible for assisting and managing lands and estates.


This session will be held on February 5 & 6, 2025 at the CanadInns Regent Hotel in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Reservations can be made directly thru the hotel by calling 1-888-332-2623.
