Event Details

The homemaker’s program is intended to provide support services in the home to those individuals who would otherwise be unable to remain at home. The homemaking service is used to assist people, who are elderly, ill or recovering from an illness within their residence and for younger adults with permanent disabilities, to remain in their home and community. 

This 2.5-day Core Homemakers with Case Management & Local Policy (Day 1 Core Homemakers, Day 2 Case Management & Local Policy & Day 3 Local Policy) session will include training topics such as: program overview, application process, reporting requirements, program management, forms and job aids, as well as focus on Case Management & Local Policy. Attendees will discuss compliance and case management, along with developing local policies and have round table discussions to discuss best practices, potential projects/pathways, stories and share knowledge with other Municipal and First Nation Delivery Agents.

Open to all First Nations Delivery Agents & Municipalities.
Lunch is on your own.
