Cyber Security - Staying Safe Online - Session 2

Greg Hughes from Algoma Business Computers (ABC) will be hosting four WebEx sessions during the month of September. This will give participants more than one opportunity to attend. This is not a series; it's a session that is offered on four different dates to help fit into your busy work schedule.

In this 1.5 hour session, participants will learn why cyber security is more important than they realize. They will learn about common security threats and how to recognize them, such as:

• phishing
• email
• financial impersonations
• passwords - best practices, reuse
• password managers - why they are important
• multi-factor authentication - why it's important/why it's not always enough
• future of account protection
• risk reduction and tricks used to get your personal information

This session will assist attendees to understand risk reduction in their offices and their homes.

*Out-of-province non-members will be invoiced $75 for attending session.
