The homemaker’s program is intended to provide support services in the home to those individuals who would otherwise be unable to remain at home. The homemaking service is used to assist people, who are elderly, ill or recovering from an illness within their residence through a defined range of services, to remain in their home and community. This two day session will cover an in-depth overview of the Homemaker’s Program, as well as, Case Management and Developing Local Policies for your homemaker's program. 

Training topics include an overview of the Homemaker's & Nurses Services Act, program overview, application process, reporting requirements, program management, case management, policy developement and job aids. 

This session will hold the Core Homemakers session on Day One with Case Management & Policy Development session will be held on Day Two. This session is open to all Ontario Works Administrators, their workers, Homemakers workers, and Ministry employees.
